by Routledge Press in the "Biomedical Law and Ethics Library" Series recently.
This
book systematically analyzes the issue of mass protection in the study of human
genetics through discussing the necessity to protect group interest by means of
law in the study of human genetics from several aspects, such as the
particularity of human genetic information, the theory of informed consent, the
vulnerable group protection and the special position of developing countries in
the study of human genetics, and proposes concrete suggestions on the ethical
and legal system arrangements suitable for developing countries based on the
critical analysis of the inapplicability of the current ethical and legal
frameworks.
Routledge,
established in 1836, is a well-known academic publishing house. There have been
more than 20 academic works in the " Biomedical Law and Ethics Library"
Series so far and this book is the only one written by Chinese author in the
Series.
