  • Professor Qiao LIU Elected Member of IACL

Prof. Qiao LIU has been elected Member of International Academy of Comparative Law recently. IACL, established in the Hague in 1924, is the foremost international academic society in the field of comparative law with the long-term aim to direct and promote the study, creation and academic exchange on comparative law. Member of IACL is selected mainly from the scholars and judges who make great contributions to comparative law, and Prof. LIU is the second of the School of Law elected Member of IACL after Dean SHAN, who was elected Member of IACL in 2007 and Titular Member later in 2010.


Additionally, Prof. LIU also has been chosen into the New Century Talent Support Programme 2013 based on his brilliant achievements on the study of contract law and the comparative law between Chinese law and England-Australian private law after Prof. Jiangyu WANG of the School of Law. The programme aims to cultivate youth academic leaders with solid academic foundation, outstanding innovation capacity and superior development potential in colleges and universities.
