The faculty congress of XJTU School of Law was held on December 12, 2013. The congress was chaired by Husheng PENG, Secretary of CPC General Branch of School of Law. At the congress, Dinghong ZHANG, Minister of XJTU Organization Department, announced the result of the election that Prof. Wenhua SHAN was re-elected Dean of the School of Law.

Minister ZHANG said that the previous achievements of the School of Law has been highly recognized and expressed her hope that the School could develop further under the leadership of Dean SHAN in the next period. Then, Dean SHAN delivered an inaugural address, expressing that the success of re-election is not only a great honor, but also a grave responsibility. He believes that the School of Law has been developing on the right track and that the further development has been and will be relying on the strong support of the university authority and the society, the effective collaboration of the leading group of the School of Law, the wise guidance of the Professoriate and the full cooperation of all the staff and students of the School of Law.
